My husband and I first made contact with Tim from Newlands International at a Properties Abroad Exhibition in London where he was manning a stall selling holiday homes in St Lucia. We were struck then by the enthusiastic approach he brought to the client and the practical advice he gave us with view to research that should be done before venturing into the field of real-estate purchase overseas.

We finally decided,having returned home and discussed it, that we would visit Tim as part of a comprehensive tour of the Island, whilst leaving time for a holiday too! From the moment we met him again on the Island he looked after us so well, taking us to all the development sites that fell within our price range, as well as some that didn't,just so that we had a complete overview of what was currently available for sale or that could be bought "Off Plan". At all times there was absolutely no 'hard sell' or even persuasion, just a gentle guidance, plenty of advice and obvious enjoyment in getting the best possible outcome for the clients needs.

After a week of viewing many properties and developments, we finally made a decision to purchase. However, solely due to the humidity in the then 'rainy season,' we subsequently had to cancel it all. This was taken in good part, with understanding of our situation and with no pressure to reconsider, which was much appreciated by both of us. We both feel that Newlands International should have a great future, due to the flexible nature of the personal approach brought to the conduct of business.
